I cannot express how proud we are of our new competitors. Katie, Sarah, Glenn and Cory competed in their first competition Saturday night at Team CrossFit in Woodland Hills. The three girls battled head to head for each of the three WOD’s and Cory threw down with some veteran male competitors.

The first WOD challenged each of them with a 7 min AMRAP of heavy front squats and jump ropes. Cory had to do double unders and 5 front squats that were 85 percent of his max. He battled through the squats and completed over 3 rounds. The girls got their first taste of how long 7 minutes can be. Each of them competed like veterans the entire 7 minutes.

The second WOD was brutal; a 10 min AMRAP that included clean and jerks, sit ups and burpee box jumps. All of the supporters from Precision were so impressed on how each of them gave it their all throughout the entire 10 minutes. Sarah made the clean and jerks look easy (except her first rep, haha). Katie never stopped as she flew through the burpee box jumps. Glenn was consistent throughout the workout making the girl next to her look slow. Cory, who was worried about the clean and jerks had no issues and was by far the fastest on the burpee box jumps.

I forgot to mention the best part, each of these competitors have been doing crossFit for less than 2 months. How awesome is that!

This was such a great night for our Precision community. To have 4 new competitors and for them to have all the support show up to cheer them on was awesome. Once again, Precision had more competitors and more support than any other outside gym.

Congrats you guys!
