It is amazing to witness all those that have come into the box after attending Regional’s this past weekend. Everyone seems to have new goals in mind with more of a sense of purpose as to why they CrossFit. As I have told many, you wont truly realize what CrossFit really means to you or what you are capable of until you witness or compete in a competition. Clearly this past weekend we saw some of the best CrossFitters in the world compete. That does not mean you have to be on that level to throwdown in a local comp. I have witnessed many CrossFitters put themselves out there and compete for the first time. They are unquestionably scared and never know what to expect, but in the end they are always grateful they did so. They find something out about themselves and do things that they never thought possible. That’s what competition is about, heck that is what CrossFit is about, finding that inner strength that we all have within us. CrossFit is the only sport where you will witness the spectators and competitors cheering someone on to finish a workout or get a first of something. One thing that is certain you will always have a support group. At Precision we will always be there to coach you and cheer you on. As I have said in the past, “we got your back.”

That being said many elite CrossFitters name this time of year as the off season, post regional’s. In my opinion in So Cal regional’s is the beginning of the CrossFit competition season. Coming up we have the WOD GEAR Team Series, The NLI Series, The Beach Cities Battle, The Central Coast Clash, and the Shakedown Team Series. This is just the summer as comps like this will stretch all the way until February as the WOD GEAR Team Series, Shakedown Team Series, and NLI Series are both Summer and Winter competitions. We have a lot to prepare for and if you want to compete, cheer, or just be inspired there are a ton of opportunities to do so. One thing that is a certainty we will make sure you are always prepared and that you have one heck of cheering section. Fitness-Strength-Community!
