Ever since we almost lost my Dad a year and half ago, every day has been a blessing. It’s so easy to take your parents for granted because you think they will always be around. Then, when you almost lose one, you realize that there will be a time when their flame will burn out. This makes you realize that you better take advantage of the time you have left with them. Celebrating my Dad’s 65th birthday this weekend and watching him blow out his candles with his grandchildren was priceless. He’s an amazing father, grandfather, and role model. He’s taught me many lessons in my life so far, and I can say with confidence, I am my father’s son. I’m happy and grateful to wish him a very happy birthday. I know how lucky I am to share another one with him. Love you, Dad! Enjoy!
