Last year we were truly blessed by the welcome addition of a truly great friend… Mel Smith. I had know Mel for years always driving up from her home in San Diego in order to volunteer at all my events. Miles upon miles Mel drove for me. All she asked for in return was some smack talk, lunch, and a free t-shirt, hahahaha! When Mel told me she would be moving to the area I could not help but get overly excited. Knowing what an amazing presence she would bring to Precision left me speechless. Since Mel’s arrival she has done more than I could have ever imagined for our community and has become a massive part of it. I know in life everything happens for a reason and I am so happy that Mel’s life took her to us. You can catch Mel running all my events with me as well overseeing portions of the California Regional and Games as well! She is a super woman! Happy Birthday Mel. Enjoy!!
