Over the past few months that I have been at Precision full time, I have truly realized something amazing. I do not think I would have noticed this otherwise, which I find more astonishing. It took some great conversations and some casual observation to really see it. We all know that there are a lot of things that make Precision great. If we did not, then we would not love it so. However, what makes Precision so unique and prosperous on the wide scale is our… patience. I have been known to be a pretty patient guy despite what my friends and family think of me, hahaha. Especially when it comes to my coaching. I know sometimes it drives my athletes crazy. But all good things come to those who wait and work hard and I believe that.

Now… this goes well beyond me. This whole staff at Precision is pretty freaking amazing: Jose, Daimino, Sam, Deanna, and Jess are also very patient people in their own rights. Especially when they are coaching. The more I have observed, the more I have realized how much they all coach with with a big picture mentality. How will your fitness level effect your life as a whole? Rather than taking short cuts to teach movements, which often leads to injuries, they start from the bottom and work their way up. They do not even hesitate. Each one of them has an eye for movement and they drill the mechanics in their elegant coaching manners. As a whole, we all know that time is what we have to work with as time is what we are ultimately trying to get more of for our members. That is, in all reality, the big picture of what it is Precision is about: a healthy and fit lifestyle with a solid support system leads to longevity. This is a major part of our culture. Whether it’s an athlete recovering from injury or a mother of three pursuing her health goals, Precision is a place of positivity, support, intensity and perseverance. Everyone is an equal, which evokes consistency. Let’s face it–individually, we all want to be strong and healthy, yet most don’t realize this feat. It takes a lot of hard work, patience and accountability. Everyone at Precision holds each other equally accountable and views each other as equals. We practice the art of persistence, which creates a successful environment. This radiates from every coach in the gym and is extremely evident in our programming as a staff, how we coach each class, and most importantly… how we coach each person individually. Patience as a virtue is very commonly forgotten in health and fitness. We live in a “get it now” society. But wellness is about longevity and it is evident that we all believe that…a very rad observation and one that makes me very proud of the place that Greg and I created.
