Richie came to us a few months ago. He was a college football player with an incredible work ethic and drive. Since his playing days ended, like many former college athlete’s, he gained weight. Richie was never a small guy to begin with so putting on weight was easy for him. Starting about 6 months ago, Richie decided to get is act together. He started taking Advocare supplements, which he distributes and believes whole hardily in, and he began to eat right. Weight began to come off, then he decided to call his buddy Daniel Tromello to inquire about doing CrossFit. The rest is history. Richie is now down over 55lbs and counting. He is a beast physically, arguably being one of the strongest guys in the gym. I mean my gosh, he has a 400 lb bench press!! That is knarly and I don’t care who you are damn impressive. Richie has picked up the skills very quickly. You should see this big guy do kipping pull ups cause it’s freaken awesome! To be honest, there is nothing Richie can’t do and he is just going to get smaller. He is going to be a scary competitor soon enough and will be doing his first competition in a few weeks throwing down at our very own Winter Shakedown! I am so stoked to watch him kick ass, and compete as he did when he played ball. I know he will give it everything, his heart, his soul, and his body. Here’s to you big dawg, kick ass!
