I just want to say thank you from my family to you all for the tremendous support you have given me and my family over the past week. I have been overwhelmed by all your showings of love. The amount of people that have reached out to me has been astronomical. The past several months have been extremely hard for me mentally as I have constantly been thinking about my wife’s well being. Even after hearing her tumor was benign, just preparing for the surgery and hearing the potential side effects were extremely nerve-racking. I really do feel like you all truly understand my devotion to my family. So, going through this while still trying to stay engaged with you all as your coach was definitely tough. A huge thank you goes out to our coaching staff and the amazing job they do everyday that allowed me to step away whenever necessary. Even when it came to putting the Masters through the qualifiers, prepping Crystal for Nationals, and getting the team ready for Regionals. I felt extremely comfortable leaving those duties in the staff’s hands when I could not be present. The meals that have been provided, the help with babysitting, and the reaching out has made a difficult situation easier. 

In addition, a special thank you to my amazing mother, Bonni Tromello, who spent the whole first day and night in the hospital to make sure Em was ok. Mom, you are such an amazing human being. If anyone out there is looking for a new primary care provider, definitely check my mom out. Thank you to my father, Stephen, mother-in-law Ann, Daniel, and Katie, for showing my children a good time throughout the weekend and relieving me of some much needed pressure. I wanted so badly to be there for my kids, but was torn with wanting to be at UCLA for Em just as much. Because of you four, I was able to do both easily. 

Em has been recovering fantastically at home. Her surgeries went better than planned and that girl is already doing more than she should. I am pretty sure she will be cutting her recovery time in half, which if you know Em… sounds just like her.

Precision, you are one of a kind. I write this with tears in my eyes. Thank you for everything. I truly do mean it.
