Team Precision received a blow this week that shocked both the women and Team leader boards. One of our best, Jess Goeser was unable to post her score. Due to this mishap Jess was knocked out of the top 20 race, and the team’s ranking dropped to 14th. This is two spots from being out of contention. In addition, we will now have to go into week 5 without her. Once a score is not posted, all scores thereafter cannot contribute to the team total.

Now, as a gym we can dwell on this. We can point fingers and become angry…or we can move on. We can band together as one and fight. Team Precision has some of the best athletes in So Cal. We have been battle tested time and time again. We still have plenty of fire power. Qualifying for our 5th straight Regional is going to now rely on all of us more than ever. As a gym we all must step to the plate and think: “Why not me?” Why can’t you be the difference maker? What can you contribute? 16.5 is going to require us all. We must put our best efforts forward.

I know you have all given so much. Your efforts have been great. But now it’s for our survival. Every rep and second truly will count. Whatever you got… Bring it! Together We are One! Together we will get through this. Adversity makes us stronger. Why not you?
