The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre was an awesome ride this past weekend. I’ve run countless events at this point in my career. Dare I say that this one was the smoothest I have been a part of. I believe the reason for this was the Wall of Blue. All of you that volunteered and gave up your Sunday to spend with us, I thank you kindly. Your help and unconditional support is what made the competition such a massive success. The competition didn’t offer a cash prize. It was not at a fancy venue. What it did offer was three things: solid judging, accurate scoring, and timely heats. Throw in fun workouts that accurately tested who was the fittest and the love of the CrossFit community, and you have a recipe for success.

Precision CrossFit, I am humbled by your generosity. The way you treated your gym like it was your home. You were all eager to share a place you love with the outside community and it showed. I can’t thank you all enough. We put on a heck of a show. I am so privileged to know you all. Thank you.

To the athletes that competed: what a heck of a job. Every team was in the top 10%. With 7 out of 8 in the top 10, and 2 made it onto the podium. Not too shabby, Team Precision! Now on to the Open. You are all ready. Dave Castro can go ahead and bring it! See you in the gym.
